About the event

This workshop features flowing movement, dynamic stretching, powerful breathwork and transformative meditation to revitalise and balance the Heart, Pericardium and Small Intestine, and leave you feeling more contented and ready to lead life's dance with greater capacity for balance and appreciation.

You'll be guided through a carefully crafted sequence of experience, learning and reflection (2.5 hours) after which it's Qi and Tea time, where there will be 30 minutes set aside for tea, questions, sharing and discussion.

Summer is the season of the Fire Element, the time when nature is at its peak of expansion.

In Summer, we often do more, get out more, swim, socialise, shop, cook, get all the jobs around the house done. This is a wonderful aspect of Fire energy, full of joy and connection and love. However, it can sometimes exacerbate any accumulated tiredness you may have - whether you are coming out of a long winter, juggling familial and work responsibilities, managing a health condition or are just plain tired after the challenges of the last two years.  In addition, if you have any lingering long Covid symptoms, your energy reserves might be smaller than they used to be, and you may get tired more easily.

Would you like to tap into that wellspring of energy within you, tune it up so that the vibrant Qi flows again and soothe any frazzled nerves from all the busy-ness?

It's our experience that Qigong is like a magical healer for fatigue, sluggishness, and stuck difficult emotions, as well as being amazing for mobility, strength and flexibility.

Feel the change; feel the Qi!
